I will admit to being a bit superstitious so Friday the 13th is not my favorite day. I wake up dreading the day ahead and can’t wait for it to be done. On an intellectual level, I know that it’s silly/stupid but for some reason, I just can’t quite shake the little superstitious part of my brain that makes me dread Friday the 13th. And there are a couple things going on right now that have added to my feeling that I should be bracing myself for things to stop going as well as they’ve been going.
It’s interesting, because for the past few months my life has changed. I can’t really say things are BETTER, they are just very different. I am getting out and spending time with people and making friends. I am tackling long overdue projects like the Closet from H3LL. I am, for the most part, pretty calm and peaceful and it’s been a couple of months since I’ve had a really awful tension headache (which I’d had quite regularly for the past 10 years or so). I’d like to get to a point where I have more of a routine, but that will come.
So, I hope that all of my trepidation about Friday the 13th is simply superstition and that nothing catastrophic happens. I’ll be working more on the closet project this weekend. I get the distinct feeling I am going to need to have it moved on to the next phase soon.

Friday the 13th will occur three times this year (today, April 13 and July 13), exactly 13 weeks apart. This will be the first time since 1984 that the three unlucky dates are spaced exactly 13 weeks apart, and it won't happen again until 2040.
So, something to look forward to!
However, having said that...I've never noticed anything unlucky about Friday the 13th as opposed to any other date.
I actually decided a few years back to consider Friday the 13th as a lucky day, rather than unlucky. Why not? Luck is all about attitude anyway, right? Hope the taming of your Closet from H3ll is going well this weekend!
