It's Sunday... I'm at the coffeehouse... it's all good.
Mr. POSSLQ and I are heading out on a brief road trip after our coffeehouse sojourn... And I brought the video camera. No, it's not "high quality video" by any stretch of the imagination and I can promise the videography will pretty much suck... but... there will be video. So this might actually be a double post Sunday... we'll have to see how much editing the video ends up needing.
I've had 5 days in a row off and apparently, that's about how long I need to get my life back in order and get things under control. I've been busy the last couple days and have a couple more things I want to get to today (project work, which is in addition to the regular day-to-day stuff that needs doing). I have some office work I need to get done, too. (Freelance stuff)
I'm trying to not dwell on the fact that tomorrow, I will be back to the grind(work...not actually some fun, pseudo-sexual hijinks) and instead am trying to just focus on enjoying the day I will have today.
Overall, I am fairly pleased with the progress made over the past few days. I do wish that I'd gotten more done, but I think there is a need for some "down time" now and then. Although it was weird not having Mr. POSSLQ around, the time he was away did afford me the time to get some of the cleanup work I'd had on my agenda done without having to cram it all into the past couple of days, so that helped a great deal with the stress level being reduced.
Honestly, I am probably expecting to get too much accomplished today. But the road trip has been planned for a while now, so that is going to get done... and there is just one other project that is a crit sit (critical situation)... getting the laundry done is something that can be squeezed in easily enough and I am pretty willing to let the rest of what I have on the agenda for today go. Which is to say, if it gets done, I'll be thrilled.... if not, it's nothing that can't be done another day.
Have a stellar Sunday, Internetz!

Sundays in the coffeehouse are great, aren't they? You should see if any of the local parks have free Wifi -- sometimes it's nice to be outside working on the laptop. Downside? No coffee.
Good luck getting all your projects completed.
I'm with you- every now and then, it's nice to just have a day or two to YOURSELF. :-)
