Today marks the anniversary of Mr. POSSLQ and I becoming a part of each other's lives five years ago (We'd actually chatted previously but this is sortve the date we mutually agree that the BFF bond was formed...) Ummm... It's our Anniversary cuz this is the day we decided is our Anniversary and so this is when we celebrate it... that's our story and we're stickin' to it! He sent me an ecard that said "If I still had a soul... you'd be it's mate..." *giggle
I made sure Mr. POSSLQ's cell phone is shut off so he will be unkefuffled by the Work Weasels this weekend. There will be no "we need you to take on-call" this weekend.
Tomorrow's wine tasting has these offerings:
337 Cabernet SauvignonNot sure what to expect from any of them, really...
Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec
Red Tree Pinot Noir
Jacob’s Creek Reserve Riesling
Benziger Family Winery Sauvignon Blanc
Solid Case Selections: Willakenzie Pinot Gris and Willakenzie Pinot Noir
Tonight's wine selection was 3 Blind Moose Reisling...
Pale golden yellow color. Peach custard, orchid, and white toffee aromas follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body with tart citrus peel and chalk accents. Finishes with a tart, drying fruit tannin fade.(Remember folks... drinking = not driving = no surprise on-call! It's a brilliant plan! Because, I honestly wouldn't put it past devious weasel bossman to come knocking on the door when his stupid phonecalls don't get answered. Whateva.)
Anyhoo, I am hoping for a nice, low-stress weekend this weekend. No more frenzies. No more high stress calls. Just a nice, low-key weekend for a change.
Hope you all have nice, stress-free weekends as well, Internetz!

You sneaky, sneaky lady! Good plan, though, on keeping POSSLQ unavailable to the work weasels. Have a good weekend!
